History

MyHundred and the Hundred Network started in 2005. The whole operation runs out of a converted garage. Albeit, a finished, comfortable office now. The vision is to create a network, a community, of people just like you working for change. This site is dedicated to the most concrete and specific proposals. No loose concepts and grand wishful thinking are expounded. The decision was made to launch at the earliest reasonable stage. There is a common proverb, "Perfect is the enemy of good." Thus, perfection has to wait.

You can take one or more of these ideas and ask your fellow citizens to join you. You don't even need an office. Pencil, paper, phone, and a circle of friends and acquaintances are all you really need. The vision got the whole thing started. If we can think really big, so can you.

The Scope of MyHundred

MyHundred is focused on common-sense solutions to problems, not on meaningless reform and useless hand-wringing. The focus on solutions makes this site unique. The scope of the content does include opinion and proposals. This site is probably closest to an opinion and editorial page of a newspaper. However, MyHundred does not participate in political campaigns. MyHundred will not endorse any candidate or any party. On the other hand, a political candidate or party may endorse one or more of the solutions, or the Fair Deal in its entirety. It is up to you, dear reader and fellow citizen, to promote solutions and get people elected where you live.

Commercial Message

MyHundred is financed through your purchases, subscriptions, and donations. This internet model means that you, as a friend and supporter, would initiate a purchase from our site. That's the only way our affiliates can ever give us credit. Your price is the same, no matter what. However, it makes all the difference to us. The vision, already in the planning stages, includes many more online programs for you.
